fischertechnik makes these really cool "toys." Imagine LEGOs for the industrial designer, then add computer control! I bought my first set about 1982, at that time the controllers were for the Commodore 64. Nowadays, the C-64 is well retired, but the rest of the fischertechnik stuff still keeps my interest. Below are links to a random sampling of FT sights. Enjoy! By the way, many of these sites are in German, as Germany is the home of fischertechnik. You can always try the babblefish for a translation.
Formerly "Gordy's fischertechnik price watch," it is now better described as just "Gordy's fischertechnik source list." I barely have the time to keep a list of sources up to date, let alone a list of prices. Hope this helps you find what you are looking for!
gamelan.de/ft[Bable Fish] contains information about fischertechnik including old catalogues, manuals and an interactive article-list with spare-parts from the beginnings until today. I'm told that when there is time they might consider translating the site to English as well... In addition, they are A-dealer of fischertechnik, so they keep the full FT assortment, including all spare parts, in stock. .
Rolf Hemmerling maintains The inofficial fischertechnik files where you can find an awesome bunch of fischertechnik links. It appears Rolf is interested in purchasing old/used fischertechnik kits.
Kevin's pages show some neat pictures of Fischertechnik in action. Apperently broken (as of 2002-10-15): http://msnhomepages.talkcity.com/HobbyCt/kkilgore1/ http://homepages.msn.com/HobbyCt/kkilgore1/
